Nelson J. Hernandez
Nelson is a Speech Pathologist and Graduate Researcher within the Centre of Research Excellence in Aphasia Recovery and Rehabilitation (Director: Professor Miranda Rose). He is the PhD student for the Communication Connect project, which aims to improve rehabilitation and self-management for people with communication disabilities following stroke and traumatic brain injury, while also providing tailored support to families and clinicians through an online platform. Nelson has a particular interest in promoting psychological wellbeing for people with aphasia and their families across the continuum of care.
