Kirsti Haracz
Kirsti is a registered occupational therapist, program convenor and researcher at the University of Newcastle. Prior to embarking on her academic career, Kirsti worked for 13 years as an occupational therapist in rural and metropolitan areas of Australia and in the United Kingdom. She has been coordinating and teaching courses in the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) Program at the University of Newcastle since 2006 and have been the program convenor since 2022. Kirsti's research is predominantly in health professions education, mental health and rehabilitation and health behaviour change interventions for people with long term health conditions and their carers. Much of her research involves co-design, with her role in collaborations being leadership of qualitative elements of projects.
